The story is, was, that my lapel mic was playing up. We called the technician who came to my rescue. He turned it on! Handed the mic back to me... it failed. I took a step towards him and out of camera he took a step towards me. I took a longer step back. He took the lapel mic and as he walked towards the communications hub at the back of the room he kissed the mic and Boom! it was on - he hands the mic' back to me and "Hoorah!" - I'm back in business.
